Lecturing, Monologic (Exposition, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (Discussion, conversation, brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic), Analysis of a work of art

Learning outcomes
The course presents work of contemporary filmmakers and their innovative and progressive approaches to film narrative and style in the context of their creative surroundings. The main aim is to provide students the deeper orientation in this field and to train their critical reflection of present-day cinema.
Student is able to think independently and to critically evaluate presented artworks. Student is able not only to present his/her own opinion but also to provide argumentation support. Student is capable of reading foreign literature and reviews.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of the film history and audiovisual culture.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Systematic observation of the student

point system: total of 120 points -full attendance (12-10 seminars) 50 points; 3rd and additional absence= -5 points -written test (70 points max.) evaluation: A 120-111 points B 110-101 points C 100-91 points D 90-81 points E 80-71 points
