Course content
This will lead to understanding of dramaturgy principles for the right choice of a formal aspect of an AV work. During the shared analysis, discussions, and practical exercises students will focus on practical understanding of a film structure function and will understand how to work with the aspect of time in modern documentary AV works. School films from TBU in Zlin will be analysed, as well as works from FTF V+SMU, FAMU Prague, and Awards from international student film festivals, together with samples from Czech and international film environment. Theoretical preparation for mastering film language will cover: a triangle of a film story, industry film, documentary film, motives in a film story, structure of a film story.
