1. Screenwriting (screenwriting SW, differences between Hollywood and European writing styles - formats) 2. Creating a dramatic character (3 x 3 pillars of a believable character; the so-called Solar System) + character biography 3. Expressing the character characterization of the figure through dialogue, gesture, musical motif + overheard dialogue 4. Basic narrative structures (linear and most common non-linear narrative types) + written comparison of Rashomon and Lola Runs for Her Life 5. Dramatic situations (theory of 36 dramatic situations), conflict structure (5 stages) + written reflection on animated film Four 6. Working with time - expressing the passage of time, dramatic time, psychological time and film time 7. Literary materials - how to write authorial exposition, treatment, synopsis, annotation, and title of the work - practised through individual student projects 8. Ongoing consultation of thesis projects - literary stages of development
