Course content
|
1. Theoretical terminology: basic critical trends, terminology and tools for critical analysis of film (e.g. intertextuality, connotation, denotation, metaphor, metonymy). 2. The animator in the working context: selection and preparation of the project, topic, processing possibilities, necessary materials, synopsis, schedule, logistical support, and psychological preparedness. Phases of film production - practical vocabulary and analysis of the elements of film production. Crew - categorisation, functions and practical interconnection of roles. 3. Activities. Composition (film story, synopsis, review), general orientation to English tenses and their correct use in a composition sequence. Expression of future plans and intentions. The student will acquire the relevant vocabulary and expressive skills necessary for the practical application of the English language within the field of study.
