Course content
|
1. Basic film terminology and concepts: story/plot, narrative, dramatic curve, character/hero, setting, visual style, film genres and their conventions, sound, and music. 2. Animation: types and technologies, practical application of the animator, animation process, animator's specialization, aspects of individual creation and teamwork. 3. Activities. Thematic vocabulary and phrases. Short essay exercises, freewriting, mind maps, and building the ability to record and describe short situations or concepts. Expressing personal opinion, agreement and disagreement. The student will acquire the relevant vocabulary and expressive skills necessary for the practical application of the English language within the field of study.
