Course content
1. Mechanical barrier systems as a basic pillar for comprehensive security of residential and non-residential buildings. 2. The issue of integrated security system from the point of view of the Ministry of Health, as a comprehensive security of buildings, mainly against forced entry of a person into the protected zone, prevention of deterioration of equipment and facilities, prevention of theft of objects, etc. Integrated security system, IBS reactivity, pyramid of security processes . 3. Summary of basic concepts in the field of MZS, classification of basic functions and use in practice. 4. Application of formal conceptual analysis as a modern method for analysis and processing of tabular data, method of conceptual unions. 5. Building Act 183/2006 Coll., Architecture, technical requirements 268/2009, building components and elements 6. Testing and certification of MZS elements and systems according to ČSN ISO 8402, safety class RC. 7. Method and tactics of designing mechanical protection of objects, designing MZS objects. 8. Types of mechanical barriers, security and protection systems and aids, breakthrough resistance of opening and storage objects. 9. Destructive overcoming of mantle protection systems, techniques and used tools and equipment. 10. Lock inserts, closing and locking subsystem of doors, windows and other barriers, principle of operation, magnetic and Electromotive, biomechanical, labyrinth locking systems. 11. Non-destructive overcoming of mantle protection systems, techniques, used tools and equipment. 12. Elements and systems of perimeter and object protection of objects. 13. Categorization for mechanical security of buildings, authorized manufacturers of MZS. 14. Standardization for the field of storage facilities - the role, position and harmonization, current development trends of mechanical barrier systems in the EU and in the world.

The student is able to design in the field of MZS (MBS) mechanical protection for mantle, perimeter, subject and special protection of documents and securities. The aim of the course is to interpret the design of mechanical restraint systems in accordance with related technical means (I & HAS, DV within IBS) and should be able to orient in the field of legislation and characterize current development trends of mechanical restraint systems in the EU and in the world.
