Course content
|
During the semester, the student will be introduced to selected topics from practice through presentations: Week 1 - Basic structural elements and their documentation Week 2 - Standardized components - Bolts, nuts, washers, pins, feathers, wedges, springs. Week 3 - Gears and belts Week 4 - Force, moment of force and centre of gravity Week 5 - Manufacturing documentation Week 6 - Flexibility and strength Week 7 - Basic stress types; tension, compression and shear Week 8 - Basic Stress Types; Bending and Torsion Week 9 - Static and dynamic stresses, basic calculations and tests Week 10 - Excursion to ITC Zlín Week 11 - Colorimetry - Light, light perception and technical description of light sources Week 12 - Colorimetry - LED technology Week 13 - Colorimetry - Simulation possibilities of light sources
