- Introduction and history of microbiology. - Cellular organisms, basic characteristics of the Archaea, Bacteria and Eucarya domains. - Physiology of bacteria I - growth and reproduction, influence of environmental factors. - Physiology of bacteria II - methods of obtaining energy. - Physiology of bacteria III - biosynthetic metabolism. - Molecular biology of bacterial cells (basic processes). - Regulation of the formation of enzymes and their activity; genetic basis of bacterial variability. - Overview of the main bacterial groups I (Actinobacteria, Cyanobacteria, Firmicutes). - Overview of the main bacterial groups II (Proteobacteria, Spirochetes). - Occurrence of bacteria in water and soil, control of drinking and hot water. - Bacterial communities. Pathogenic bacteria, toxins and pathogenicity factors. Epidemiology. - Eukaryotic microorganisms I - Fungi. - Eukaryotic microorganisms II - Protozoa. - Industrial use of microorganisms.
