- Definitions of Culture, views of Culture. - Types of Culture. - Communication as an Element of Culture. - Communication Contexts. - Intercultural Communication Competence. - Dimensions of Culture (Hofstede, Trompenaars). - Barriers to Intercultural Communication. Ethnocentrism, cultural relativism, cultural shock. - Non-verbal Communication. - Language as a Communication Barrier. - Intercultural learning. - Cultural intelligence.
