Course content
-- communicative-pragmatic basis of culture, assumptions of communication, basic categories and components of human communication criteria for classifying communication systems, communication as a system, communication technologies - periodisation and development of human communication - mass communication and mass media - the emergence of mass communication media - new digital media - new media and social change: technological determinism, information society, diffusion and adoption of new media, new media and social inequalities - social life on nline and offline
