Course content
1. Introduction to the study of economics. 2. Historical view of the economy. 3. Subject of economic theory, market and market mechanism, production factors, forms of competition. 4. Money, history and development of money, functions of money and their properties. 5. Financial system, financial institutions, financial documents, stock exchange, capital market. 6. International money market, foreign exchange markets and exchange rates, factors affecting the level of the exchange rate, international monetary system. 7. Economic function of the state, goals, tools and types of economic policy. 8. Measurement of national economic results, gross domestic product, inflation, unemployment, balance of payments. 9. Monetary policy, instruments and objectives of monetary policy. 10. Fiscal policy, tools and objectives of fiscal policy. 11. Pension and wealth, pensions and their distribution. 12. Inflation and unemployment, solving social problems. 13. Economic growth and economic cycle.
