Course content
1st circuit Theoretical introduction to the subject, literature, introduction of compulsory texts 2nd circuit Examples of interpretation. Art-historical texts and their analysis, analysis, and interpretation of the contemporary works of art. 3rd circuit Workshops in the field.

The student knows the theoretical background of the discussed interpretative approaches. The student understands the reasons and contexts for the diversity and non-dogmatic nature of interpretation. The student knows examples of good practice or inspirational interpretation. The student has an understanding of the workflow and resource options in interpreting a work of art.

Learners will be able to distinguish between different levels of reading visual representations, particularly works of art
Students can routinely follow the correct procedures in the primary description of a work of art. Students can appropriately choose an approach to interpretation. Students can extract the necessary findings from the previous procedure for subsequent analysis. Students can use comparisons with other interpretations from studies, reviews, etc. relevant sources in the interpretation. Students will be able to conclude the process of interpreting a work of art knowing that this is a closure situated and defined by the intent and genre nature of the interpretation.
