Course content
1. Basics of copyright law, basic principles of closing contracts. 2. Contractual and non-contractual use of subjects of copyright and related rights, contractual securing of creative activities, collective management of copyright and related rights. 3. Copyright aspects of audiovisual and film production, legal position of selected members of a film crew. 4. Legal means for the protection of copyright and related rights, legal regulation of fields closely connected to copyright law, including the protection against unfair competition and protection of personality rights.

Knowledge
Students will acquire and will be able to apply basic legal terminology and theoretical concepts used in the field of copyright law and related legal fields. Besides the basic theoretical orientation, students will also acquire current information of practical nature - emphasis will be placed inter alia on the practical orientation in legal means and claims (motion for a preliminary injunction, respective lawsuits etc.), and on the correct procedures at selection and closing of respective contracts (contract on creation of work of authorship, contract on artistic performance, licence contract, option contract etc.), as well as on the correct use of statutory licences.
