Deconstructivism and the phenomenon of star architects in the Czech Republic. 3. Minimalist tendencies. 4. Green architecture and environmental discourse - successful realisations. 5. The phenomenon of modularity - its grasp in the Czech Republic (KOMA modular). 6. Reconstruction, revitalization, conservation in the context of the contemporary urbanism and climate discourse

The application of theoretical concepts of visual studies and knowledge from the history of visual culture leads students to a deeper understanding of selected examples from current exhibitions, award announcements, etc. events from the world of the contemporary world and Czech visual art and visual culture. Discussion of selected topics helps students understand and describe their own work and exercises their ability to assess and name events in contemporary culture. |

Schopnost rozpoznávání architektury, orientace v probraných pojmech a konceptech, v odborných textech o současné architektuře a urbanismu. Studující získají dovednost přečíst současné architektonické objekty z hlediska jejich záměru, úlohy, urbanistického kontextu i výtvarné stylizace a budou tak dobře vybaveni pro reflexi vlastní tvorby. |
