Course content
The course will introduce students to the changes in architecture after the First World War until the end of the 20th century. The course focuses in particular on the social, economic and technological background of these changes and on different approaches in architecture. It introduces students to dreamy engineering innovations, urban transformations, new architectural roles, and architecture's connection to political life. Students will be introduced to each of the key figures in the history and theory of architecture during this period.
