Course content
1. Art deco. Interwar design in the USA. 2. Design and World War II. Design "baroque" of the 1950s. 3. Scandinavian design. 4. Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm and the concept of "good design". 5. Zdeněk Kovář and the "Kovář School". Polish poster. 6. Post-war graphic design of the 1950s-1960s in the USA. Development of the concept of Corporate Identity. 7. "Swiss School" in graphic design.
