Course content
- Composition. - Random and created composition. - Artwork definition. - Positioning objects in space. - Proportion. - Mathematical expression of harmonic relatios. - Historical roots and development. - Musical conditions by Pythagoras. - Ad triangulum, Ad quadratum in medieval arts. - Golden section. - Analysis of visual artworks. - Verbal description of artworks´ inner visual structure.

Knowledge
The student is informed in basic compositional principles, typology and morphology of visually perceived shapes. The student has knowledge of proportion, composition, harmony, rythm, gradation etc. The student is able to apply the gained knowledge and with help of rational methods to revise and amend his/her usually intiuitive work.
