Students negotiate about the terms and length of internship with the representative(s) of the company providing it. Recommended length of internship is 1 to 6 weeks, i. e. 5 to 30 working days. In exceptional cases, following a student's written request, the head of department or studio can extend the duration of the internship. While being on internship, the student's absence from the teaching process and the workplace is excused. The student informs the teachers and the tutor of his internship before its commencement.
