The subject introduces students to the relationship between the utility values of footwear, their function, required parameters and the choice of materials used and construction of footwear, the application of test methods and requirements for footwear in terms of upper, lining, reinforcing materials and fittings, components, technologies and standards. Enables practical verification of structural, material and manufacturing defects. It represents the occurrence of mechanical thermal and chemical damage to footwear. The teaching is vividly documented on samples and examples from the forensic expert's archive together with extensive photo documentation of expert opinions.
