Dyeing, polishing and other finishing techniques according to the character of the product and the material used. Selection of an appropriate technological process with regard to the desired appearance and function of the product. 3. Design and production of a diary cover Design of the construction and appearance of a diary cover according to the student's own concept. Preparation of templates, cutting of individual parts, material processing, gluing, sewing and, where appropriate, the use of mechanical fasteners. Solutions for folds, bends and functional details. Emphasis on construction accuracy, correct sequence of technological operations and final functionality. 4. Decorative and functional details Development of technological skills through the application of details according to the student's own design, such as embossing, perforation, riveting, decorative stitching, closures or other decorative and structural solutions. Selection of suitable techniques according to the character and function of the product. 5. Individual product chosen by the student - design and construction Design of an individual leather product based on the student's interests and needs. Selection of the product and its construction in consultation with the teacher. Preparation of templates, selection of suitable materials and components, and planning of the technological process. 6. Individual product - production Independent production of the selected product using and combining previously acquired technologies. Cutting and preparation of parts, joining, sewing, gluing, riveting, application of components and finishing operations. Emphasis on independence, appropriate selection of technological procedures, precision and functionality of the final product. 7. Connection with the Pattern Making course - Oxford shoe Practical application of knowledge acquired in the Pattern Making course. Preparation and cutting of individual parts of an Oxford shoe according to the prepared templates. Correct orientation of the parts within the material, preparation and adjustment of parts before assembly, marking and adherence to the correct technological sequence. 8. Assembly and completion of the Oxford shoe Processing and assembly of individual upper parts, gluing and sewing, upper assembly, preparation for lasting and practical training in lasting the upper on a last. Adjustment and finishing of parts and edges, quality control and completion of the finished half-pair.
