Course content
|
The primary goal of the course is to provide the student with an interpretation of the development of art history from the 1990s to the present. The course emphasizes the opportunity to perceive personal creative performance that develops the ability to interpret one's own work as a result of the seminar. Students will engage with art history as a means of formulating their own expression and stance toward understanding and examining cultural, historical, and social contexts. They will also trace the development of art at some institutionally established universities.
