Course content
- An introduction to the issue in the form of several lectures focused on presentations of new media festivals, introducing existing site specific installations and artists working with new media. - Introduction to technical tools for creating site specific installations - leap motion, kinect, arduino + sensors. - Introduction to MadMapper and Resolume Arena 7 software, Touch designer. - Designing alternative presentations. - Searching for a specific concept. - Developing the concept- annotation, description, technical specifications, economic calculation. - Preparation and implementation of the presentation concept. - Independent final product presented as a work of art at the exhibition -site specifics of the installation.
