The course unit Camera 8 has the main priority to analyze night light, the concept of light, light scene, light changes, and its use in film practice. Students analyze natural night and artificial light and try to understand its effects on evoked emotions. The analytical part tries to conceive the relationship between the use of a specific shape of night lighting and pictorial expression. This observation is closely connected with the analysis of the usability of this observation in pictorial dramaturgy. Students solve case studies and in connection with the subject AVP 8 they practically implement them. In the subject, they try to conceive the idea of the night scene in a specific scenario and its feasibility. They analyze the impacts and possible variations of the respective concept. They also have the obligation to work closely with the director and he dramaturgist on the graduate project, create an idea of the environment, and get acquainted with the work of a film architect. They create color stylization and focus on the meaning of color from the point of view of expression. They analyze the painting and its effects on the concept of film image from the point of view of means of expression: composition-color-light-figure-gesture-symbol.
