Payne Minorities in film: New Queer Cinema - context, personalities, key works - Gregg Araki, Todd Haynes, Tom Kalin, Gus van Sant Minorities in film: New Black Cinema - context, personalities, key works - Spike Lee, John Singleton The new faces from Sundance at the turn of the 90's and the new millennium - Darren Aronofsky, Christopher Nolan, Sofia Coppola Hollywood in the new millennium - The industry structure, media conglomerates; production strategies, genres - The influence of the Internet and new media on the distribution and current form of film viewing
