Course content
|
The student will get acquainted with the technicaly-dramaturgical possibilities and their advantages/disadvantages in the recording of these musical ensembles. The course unit also deals with the processing of musical groups (ensembles) in the studio and live environment, as well as the subsequent processing in sound post-production and its possibilities, advantages/disadvantages. Thematic areas: - preparatory phases of the recording - the material, reading of the musical part, studying of available recordings - the inspection of the premises - possibilities of control measurements, possibilities of setting up a musical ensemble - the selection of technology and its pitfalls in the given space - the locations of microphones - recording, its formats and subsequent export to post-production - work on the post-production system TC electronic SYSTEM 6000 - connecting, reverberation effects, automations, finalization - work with convolutional reverbs - work with the Ambisonic format - VR AUDIO - measurement methods III. - consultation of semester work and assigned exercises during the semester
