Course content
All the tools and means which lead to a qualitative improvement in film theme processing will be improved. The course contents is modified in reflection of the individual students' projects and their needs depending on the type and kind of the selected AV form. In a drama works creation we study theories more in detail: premise, scene building, sequencing, fabula suspense, principles of a gradation. Students gain a deeper insight into the theory of staging methods and processes, they learn in more detail about authorship's approach to scene building (standpoint, dominance, action, etc.), camera moves for a scene /camera staging in literary and technical script, special attention is paid to work with time within the scene (gradation, prolonging suspense, and more). Class contents include theory of working with film space from a screenplay to shooting realisation, and technology of working with light as a means of expression. Students gain better skills in judgment of both components of an AV work, they learn about more theories of dramaturgy work with an audio component in an AV project. TV series, sitcom. The class contents cover theories of screenwriting which relate to film theme processing towards a premise, theory of narrative structures and whole compositions.
