Course content
Further themes include mainly: - direct broadcasting (preparation of shooting, cooperation with the first camera operator, specifics of editing and sound, differences according to the type of the action. - sport events (specifics, preparation of shooting, using sort in advertising) - basics of a documentary - film technology - director and animator (computer and classic animation) - special methods in directing work - creation of a moodboard, storyboard, animatic, director's treatment - types and specifics of individual broadcasted programs (news, reportage, journalistic program, documentary, drama production, music production, scientific and popular science programs, school and instructional works and videos, advertising programs, edited broadcast, sport live and recorded broadcast), FILMLAB (online TV broadcasting) - non-traditional types of audiovisual works (AV installation, polyekran, laterna magica, big screen projections and non-traditional materials projections, 3D AV works, video art) The course unit contents also cover screenwriting theory that reflects working themes into an idea and a premise, theories of narrative structures and compositions of the whole texts. The main focus is on theories related to parallel narratives and its rules.

Knowledge
Students acquire knowledge in genre tools and their function. They will learn about theory and technology of directing programs shot with sequencing technologies (preparation of shooting, cooperation with the first camera operator, specifics of editing and sound).

The student deepens the knowledge from the winter semester and becomes newly acquainted with: - structural methods of script development (Frank Daniel's sequential method, Blake Snyder's beat theory) - the theory of creating dramatic characters (C.G.Jung, L. Egri), working with dialogues - solar system (Robert McKee) - Bill Nichols' theory of six modes of representation - writing accompanying texts (annotation, explication, outline, treatment, etc.)
