Course content
Part of the class is carried out as practical exercises and their collective analysis. Basics for the collective search of rules for framing genre scenes is grounded with an analysis of selected examples from the contemporary Hollywood production that are subsequently compared with examples from the European and world cinematography. At the same time, the emphasis is placed at characteristic differences and mainly on identical processes, which point to the indispensable craft base. Discussion follows the analysis towards a deeper understanding of the substance of framing rules and their justification in the physical, psychological and cultural contexts.
