Course content

. Learning the basics of the work of a sound master in recording contact sound (individual devices - practical demonstrations) and subsequent processing on the post-production DAW Avid ProTools - especially on the HDX12 system, Apple OSX platform. Emphasis is placed on communication with the editing department and the director in all parts of AV production. The student will use the knowledge mainly during the implementation of the basic first-year exercises and individual field tasks, which focus on the basics of editing in DAW Avid ProTools using the basics of working with processing and metadata. Thematic areas: - basics of communication and work of a sound master in recording contact sound (individual devices - practical tests) - MAC (OSX) platform vs. Windows - basic knowledge of the DAW - Avid ProTools - basics of communication in the film crew - project preparation and communication with the editing workplace - methods of measuring I. and exporting the project - consultation of semester work and assigned exercises during the semester
