Course content

The scriptwriting seminar leads students to the final independent creative work on the script and gradually introduces them to: - The basics of screenwriting, the idea, the theme, the generally expressed idea, the main idea, the supporting problem. - The process of working within the literary preparation of an AV work: how to approach a script: idea, theme. - Scene, sequence, message and style - Conventional narrative structure. Narrative structure. - Event lines, relationship lines. - Character and character development. - The dramaturgy of the audiovisual. In the field of directing, the teaching focuses on mastering the basic principles of directing: - Assembling a film crew. - Approach to the script, dramaturgy. - Creating a technical script. - Writing a synopsis. - Working with an actor. The student will practise his/her knowledge by completing sub-assignments focusing on particular topics and by writing and implementing a script for a class exercise.
