The student will learn about: - screenwriting techniques and strategies (theme, spot script, treatment, European vs. American scriptwriting norms) - the laws of creating a dramatic character (S. Field, L. Egri) - basic recommendations for writing dialogue - 6 modes of representation in documentary film according to Bill Nichols - dramaturgical theories (three-act narrative, beat theory, Aristotelian structure) |
