Course content
Topics for beginners are: Metamorphosis Pixilation Bouncing ball Walking, running, sprinting Walking into the perspective of the space The journey to the set goal Animal animation Advanced animators work on short stories inspired by the realities and history of Moravia and Bohemia. In them, they combine facts with mystification, which results in an unexpected funny point. Students are encouraged to get to know our country, fairy tales, and rumours in person as much as possible. Sketches and photos from these sightseeing trips serve as inspiration for their fantasy animated creations. The teaching also includes joint workshops with Czech students led by experts from outside the school. At the school, we deal with all animation techniques, starting with classic cartoon animation, cut-out animation, puppet animation, and ending with computer animation. Specialization in technology is at the student's choice. Theoretical lectures are on the following topics: Attractive places and history of the Czech and Slovak Republics Creativity Art and kitsch Non-verbal communication - body language Genres in animated film
