Course content
- Visual communication - Writing as a specific form of thought and sound visualisation, application of writing - Messages in digital media, image speech - Semiotics of image codes, image criticism - convention - perception and recognition codes, transitional and facultative codes, interpretation, specifics of text and image narration - Illustration and its application.

University-level knowledge of visual culture, capability of analysis and synthesis of a simple graphical symbol, theoretical knowledge of creating a simple image message using graphical symbols.
