1. Introduction to the study of the subject, connections and context. 2. Security system in law and security. 3. Characteristics and functions of the security system, its structure. 4. Security system as an institutional tool for creating and implementing security policy. 5. Security system at the municipal level, citizens in the security system. 6. Issues of security policy and its historical aspects. 7. External security environment. 8. Internal security environment. 9. Current issues of the global security environment, threats and risks of its further development. 10. European security and defense policy. 11. Genesis of the security strategy and security policy of the Czech Republic. 12. The North Atlantic Alliance in documents and organizational structure 13. State defense, Defense strategy. 14. Armed forces of the Czech Republic.

| Předmět je zařazen do prvního semestru studia především z toho důvodu, že většina studentů se s předmětnou problematikou na sekundárním stupni vzdělávací soustavy v podstatě nesetkala. V souladu se stanoveným cílem jde v procesu jeho realizace především o kultivaci všeobecných předpokladů dalšího úspěšného studia studijního programu, především měkkých a digitálních dovedností, schopnost adaptace na vysokoškolské formy a metody výuky - aktivního učení. |
