Course content
The main topics: 1. Introduction to economic risks (terminology, typology, classification). 2. The influence of the geopolitical situation on the world economy. 3. Failure of national administration. 4. Macroeconomic failures and solution tools. 5. Budget process and budget rules. 6. Currency and inflation risks, the importance of the Czech National Bank. 7. Diagnostics of financial risks and methods of assessing the financial health of the company. 8. Investment risks at the company and individual level and their monitoring techniques. 9. Price fluctuation risks and cost management tools. 10. Liquidity risks and instruments for ensuring cash flow. 11. Fiscal and debt crisis. 12. The openness of the economy and the risks of globalization, or localization. 13. Economic aspects of raw material security.
