Course content
1. Introduction to the study of the subject, legal regulations governing the Integrated rescue system (IRS) and crisis management in the Czech Republic, terminology. 2. IRS components, their coordination and management levels. IRS documentation. Communication within the IRS. 3. Use of IRS components in international cooperation. Exercises of IRS components and crisis management bodies. IRS logistic support. 4. Organization and activities of fire protection units in the Czech Republic. 5. Disaster medicine. Tasks and activities of the medical unit at the scene of intervention. 6. The importance of the Czech Army within the IRS, the use of the army in non-military crisis situations. The importance of armed security forces within the IRS. 7. The importance of non-governmental non-profit organizations in dealing with emergencies and crisis situations. 8. Crisis management system in the Czech Republic. 9. Crisis management in organizations, Business Continuity Management. 10. Economics of crisis situations. Sources of financing in dealing with crisis situations. Economic factors of economic measures for crisis situations. Economic aspects of the functionality of critical infrastructure. 11. Psychological first aid, psychosocial assistance, demobilization, defusing, debriefing and the system of post-traumatic care for members of the IRS units. 12. Crisis communication, the phenomenon of crisis in human life, crisis intervention. 13. Solving crisis situations of a military nature and international conflicts.
