Course content
Lectures: - History of nursing and midwifery in the world and in the Czech lands in the context of the history of medicine- 2 h - Education of midwife in babies 'schools. Education in the 20th century and present- 1 h - Professional organization of midwives worldwide and in the Czech Republic and their importance for midwives- 1 h - Current midwifery in the world and in the Czech Republic- 1 h - Explanation of the concept of holism, explanation of the concept of human need, hierarchy of needs according to Maslow- 2 h - Midwifery care system- 2 h - Activities within the autonomous, cooperative, management and research roles of midwives- 2 h - NANDA International Taxonomy II, NIC and NOC and its use in midwifery- 2 h - Medical documentation, documentation in midwifery- 2 h Seminars: - Historical artefacts, important personalities- 1 h - Working with legislative standards- 1 h - Algorithm of satisfaction of human needs, dynamics of human needs- 2 h - Basic biological needs of human- algorithm of their satisfaction- 2 h - Psychosocial needs of human- algorithm of their satisfaction- 2 h - Metaneeds of human- algorithm of their satisfaction- 2 h - Midwifery care process, its phase, documentation- 2 h - Solving model situations- 3 h
