Course content
-Lectures: - Position of psychiatry, legal aspects of mental disorders - 2 hours - Basic mental functions, basic therapy and nursing procedures in psychiatry. Technique of making contact with a client, physical examination, nursing screening, anamnestic- diagnostic interview; education and prevention in psychiatry - 4 hours - Organic mental disorders, nursing process for clients with organic disorder - dementia, dementia with HIV infection, with organic amnestic syndrome and delirium - 4 hours - Mental and behavioural disorders of clients in gynaecology and obstetrics, behaviour caused by alcohol and psychoactive substances - 8 hours Seminars: - Nursing process for clients with schizophrenia or delusional. Rehabilitation of mentally ill, integrative care in psychiatry - 2 hours - Nursing process for clients with mood disorders, mania; affective disorders, neurotic disorders, acute stress reaction - 2 hours - Nursing process for clients with personality disorders; mental disorders in childhood and adolescence - 2 hours - Nursing process for clients with behavioural syndromes associated with physiological disorders and physical factors, with eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia), with mental and behavioural disorders associated with puerperium- 2 hours
