Course content
Lectures - Common neurological terms (clinical signs and symptoms). Diagnostic methods in neurology (basic and special examination techniques) - 1 hour - Main therapeutic procedures performed in children and adults suffering from inflammatory diseases of the nervous system, neurological infection. Basic medical procedures in patients with seizure disorders - 1 hour - Basic medical procedures in patients with brain ischemia and cerebral haemorrhage - 1 hour - Basic medical procedures in patients with algic syndromes - 1 hour - Basic medical procedures in patients with demyelinating diseases - 1 hour - Basic medical procedures in patients with neuropathy and myopathy - 1 hour - Basic medical procedures in patients with degenerative nervous system diseases - 1 hour - Basic medical procedures in patients with craniocerebral injuries. Basic medical procedures in patients with expansive processes of CNS - 1 hour Exercises - The nursing process in neurology nursing (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Assessment, measurement, and evaluation scales in neurological nursing (consciousness, pain, self-care, mobility, etc.) - 1 hour - Diagnostic and therapeutic methods in neurology ? nursing assistance and the role of a nurse (lumbar puncture, injection, EEG, EMG, etc.) and education of patients and their loved ones - 1 hour - The nursing process in patients with consciousness disorders, inflammatory diseases of the nervous system, neurological infection - 1 hour - The nursing process in patients with degenerative diseases of the nervous system - 1 hour - The nursing process in patients with neuropathies and myopathies - 1 hour - The nursing process in children and adults with seizure disorders - 1 hour - The nursing process in patients with algic syndromes, multiple sclerosis - 1 hour - The nursing process in patients with cerebral ischemia and haemorrhage - 1 hour
