- Definition of health. Determinants of health. Analysis of new opportunities to influence the factors affecting human health. Healthy lifestyle. Health literacy and its role in health care - 2 hour - European strategy on health care. World Health Organization program Health 21. Treaty of Amsterdam - 2 hour - Creation and methodology of projects with an emphasis on health education projects - 2 hour - Preventive care (primary, secondary and tertiary prevention) and health education. Assumptions of an efficient affecting of lifestyle - 1 hour - Lifestyle-problems and risks (definition of lifestyle, nutrition, physical activity, smoking, relation to alcohol, drugs, addictive behaviors, the effects of alternative religious groups, bullying, mental stress, risky sexual behavior) - 2 hour - Chronic non-infectious diseases and their prevention: cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, diseases of the oral cavity and teeth, allergic diseases - 2 hour - Basics of working with a client - interaction with clients and clients education, opportunities for achieving of behavioral changes and support for these changes, a clients willingness to cooperate and the possibilities of its increase - 1 hour - Methods of health education and their use. Practical examples of particular methods and tools - 1 hour - Prevention of accidents and risky behavior among children and adolescents - 1 hour - Reproductive health. Sex education. Educational programs in this field - 1 hour
