Course content
|
Exercise - Hygiene regime, barrier care, prevention of healthcare associated infections. - Nursing documentation: basic structure of documentation, mandatory nurse entries, protection of personal data, duty of confidentiality, application of patients' rights in clinical practice. - Basic nursing care: assessment of the patient's self-sufficiency, bed adjustment, hygienic care of the patient. - Positioning of the patient, hygienic emptying of the patient, care of incontinent patients, prevention of immobilization syndrome. Prevention of TEN (VTE). - Monitoring of physiological functions. - Provision of nutrition to patients, monitoring of weight and nutritional status in clinical practice, basic enteral nutrition by tube feeding or nutritional stoma. - Enema, retrograde, orthograde emptying of the gastrointestinal tract, insertion of a gastric probe. - Bladder catheterization in women, assistance in bladder catheterization in men. Care of permanent urinary catheter insertion, prevention of urosepsis in nursing care. - Collection of biological material.
