Course content
|
Provision of nursing care in outpatient care, preventive care, principles of compliance with hygiene and epidemiological regime (40 hours). Provision of nursing care, identification of the most common health limitations and diseases in residential health and social care facilities, according to the schedule of contractual workplaces (160 hours). Focus of block semester practice (list of specific nursing activities - see logbook): -Safe communication in primary, outpatient, and social healthcare, safe patient identification. -Verbal and nonverbal communication with patients/clients and their loved ones. Cooperation with the patient's/client's family. -Cooperation in a multidisciplinary team, effective communication and sharing of information about clients with an emphasis on personal data protection (within the framework of applicable legislation). -Maintaining medical records in the provision of primary, outpatient, and social health care. -Practical solutions for basic nursing care. Training in gathering information about the patient/client (medical history), assessing the patient/client from a nurse's perspective, monitoring and recording subjective and objective symptoms. -Assessment of the self-sufficiency of the client/patient using measuring tools, interventions to support self-sufficiency. -Measurement and evaluation of physiological functions, bandaging techniques. -Satisfying the needs of the client/patient. Seminar: -Preparation of block semester practice (securing and scheduling clinical workplaces, updating requirements for the smooth running of block semester practice and its reflection 1, training in occupational health and safety relevant to the academic year). -Analysis of the environment for completing block semester practice 1, identification of potential problem situations. -Analysis of cooperation in a multidisciplinary team, interpersonal relationships, guidance by a mentor/tutor. -Analysis of records in the Practice Diary/Professional Practice Guide (completion of activities, completion of tasks).
