Course content: - Legislative regulations concerning environmental and health protection in connection with the provision of healthcare. - Safety and health protection at work in healthcare. - Barrier regime and hand hygiene, disinfection and sterilization. - Classification of medical waste. Risks associated with hazardous properties of waste. - Management of selected healthcare waste in a healthcare facility. - Management of selected healthcare waste in the patient's own social environment. - Environmental responsibility and sustainability in the provision of healthcare. - Excursion.
