Course content
Developmental psychology: - Subject of study and basic terminology of developmental psychology - General regularity of human development and developmental theories. - Characteristics of developmental periods: prenatal period, new-born period; suckling period, toddler period; pre-school period; younger school period; older school period; adolescent, adulthood; aging; - Problematics of dying and death. - Threats of mental development (negligence, deprivation, torture, abuse). Social psychology: - Specification of social psychology, its place in classification of the system of psychology disciplines and its interrelation to border disciplines. - Methods of social psychology. Applied social psychology, its utilization in the profession of a social health care worker.. - Social contact, social interaction. Social communication. Social scripts. Attribution. - Social perception, interpersonal perception, empathy. - Social situation, social situation on health care. - Prosocial behaviour, forms, determination. - Social groups, characteristics, structure and group processes. - Social deviation and pathology.
