Seminar topics: 1. Theory and practice of radio equipment and its properties. General highlighting of the origin of wireless communication, the need for information technology, means of communication, the military, message transmission ( telecommunication), the importance of its introduction in the Police of the Czech Republic, the Fire and Rescue Service, healthcare, and the introduction of wireless radio equipment in the field of emergency medical services from a historical perspective. 2. Theory of electromagnetic wave propagation. Propagation speed, band division according to propagation properties, propagation properties of individual bands, bands for mass media, bands for services, frequency channels. 3. Principle of operation on frequency channels. Semiplex, duplex, semiduplex. 4. Radio stations and their basic elements. Receiver, receiver properties (noise production, noise limiter), transmitter, power, reception and transmission control, channel switch, types of stations - mobile, portable, base. 5. Radio networks in terms of their use in healthcare. Established control method, i.e., dispatch centre of the Medical Operations Centre, mobile units. Location of the base station in relation to the required coverage of the serviced area. 6. Technical possibilities for implementing radio networks - dispatch centre in a high location, remote control of radio stations, repeater control method. 7. Selective dialling. Significance, types, and use of selective dialling. Status reports, use in dispatch control. 8. Frequency allocation system in healthcare. Introduction of operational, regional, and national frequencies. Need for a unified approach to connection in healthcare. 9. Legislation on the operation and establishment of radio networks. Current state of the EMS organisation. Procedure for establishing a radio network, procedure for terminating a radio network. Radio telephone test - radio communication regulations, Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications. 10. Radio telephone operation. Basic rules, basic terms, what is allowed to be broadcast and in what language, use of abbreviations, transit transport of messages. Spelling table. Establishing radio contact, transmitting, receiving and terminating contact, operating transmitting and receiving stations. 11. Penalties for unauthorised control, operation, and possession of radio transmitting stations, protection of radio communications from interference, telecommunications secrecy and its protection. 12. Types of radio operator examinations and certificates, distress signals and distress messages, safety signals and safety messages, radio silence. Procedure for searching for persons using GPS, MT, MATRA radio communication, Záchranka application.
