Seminars - Selected methods of non-pharmacological treatment. - Application of non-pharmacological treatment in nursing care for specific clients (children, geriatric clients, etc.). - Non-pharmacological treatment of pain in children and adults. - Non-pharmacological treatment in geriatrics, within home and hospice care. - Therapeutic rehabilitation as part of non-pharmacological treatment. - The importance of therapeutic pedagogy in the implementation of non-pharmacological treatment. Exercises - Selected methods of non-pharmacological treatment of clients (nutritional therapy, light therapy, lymphotherapy, balneotherapy, etc.). Snoezelen multisensory stimulation method. - Non-pharmacological options for pain treatment in children and adults (cognitive, behavioral and physical methods). - Non-pharmacological treatment of arterial hypertension (non-smoking, rational diet, physical activity, stress compensation). Non-pharmacological steps immediately after injury "PRICE: Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation". - Non-pharmacological intervention in the acute phase of post-traumatic pain therapy: psychotherapy (suggestion, relaxation, etc.), local cryotherapy, phototherapy, homeopathy, fixation (tape, bandages, orthoses, splints, etc.), acupuncture, acupressure. - Non-pharmacological treatment of edema (lymphotherapy, bandages). Non-pharmacological treatment of type II diabetics (lifestyle changes, diet, physical activity, bariatric treatment). - Non-pharmacological treatment after surgery, relaxation techniques, proper breathing training, oxygen therapy, efforts to maintain patient mobility, prevention of TEN. Non-pharmacological treatment of sleep disorders, insomnia, principles of sleep hygiene. - Non-pharmacological treatment of anxiety, depression, delirium.
