Lectures - Basic terminology, concepts and terminology. - Social counseling and support for the terminally ill and their caregivers. - Bedside diagnosis and prognosis. - Sources of stress in palliative medicine (from the perspective of the patient, caregivers). - Counseling. Seminars - Phases of coping with a serious diagnosis (patient, relative, close person). - Phases of mourning, how to help. - Needs of the dying, caregivers, mourners and survivors. - Counseling in the care of the dying. - Counseling and assistance to caregivers of terminally ill people. - Counseling and assistance to the mourners and survivors. The most common questions of survivors. - Principles of communication in all phases of care for the terminally ill, dying, caregivers, survivors. - Possibilities of professional psychological assistance in the care of the dying and caregivers, survivors. - Examples of good practice.
