Lectures - Human needs in the pre-finem, in-finem and post-finem phases. - Symptoms at the end of a person's life. - Nutrition, hydration, refractory symptoms, palliative sedation in the dying. - Factors influencing the provision of care. - Awareness of close caregivers. - Caring for the deceased. Grief. Caring for the client/patient's close relatives. Seminars - Demonstration of sample case studies of patients in palliative care, focusing on: - Cardiovascular and respiratory symptoms and their management. - Urogynecological and GIT problems in palliative treatment (especially bowel disorders, diverting stomas, etc.). - Skin manifestations in patients in palliative care, lymphedema issues. - Management of the most common psychological symptoms and syndromes.
