Seminars - Social issues of the patient in palliative care (introduction to the social issues of home and palliative care, basic terminology). - Specifics of home and palliative care. - Ethical and legal aspects of palliative care. - Psychosocial aspects of palliative care (loss of work role, family financial security, change of environment, social role, planning for the future). - The importance of social work in palliative care. Social work in palliative care in practice (social work with the client, with the family, care for survivors, administration). - The role of a social worker in palliative care within a multidisciplinary team. - Social activities performed in palliative care (social-legal counseling, psychosocial support). - Relational and social impacts of incurable illness (social losses, social isolation, social death), social plan, case reports).
