Course content
|
Lectures - Comprehensive child care, organization of child care. Issues of chronically and terminally ill children, including pain issues. - Palliative and hospice care for children and adolescents, cooperation with the family. Social services provided to children. - Assessment of the child's health status, specifics of childhood. - Diseases in children with chronic respiratory failure, on home artificial lung ventilation, with oxygen therapy, inhaler. Diseases in children and adolescents with chronic dialysis. Cooperation with a dialysis center. Seminars - Diseases in children and adolescents with cardiovascular disease. Congenital defects and acquired diseases of the heart and blood vessels. - Diseases in children with stoma, PEG. - Diseases in children with neurological diseases. Diseases in children with musculoskeletal disorders. - Diseases in children with infectious diseases. Exercise - Specifics of nursing care for children with chronic respiratory failure, on home artificial lung ventilation, with oxygen therapy, inhaler. Care of endotracheal cannula and tracheostomy cannula. Operation of the ventilator. - Specifics of nursing care for children and adolescents treated with chronic dialysis. - Specifics of nursing care for children with stoma, PEG. - Specifics of nursing care for children with neurological diseases. - Specifics of nursing care for children with musculoskeletal disorders. - Specifics of nursing care for children with diabetes mellitus. - Specifics of providing palliative and hospice care for children and adolescents, cooperation with the family. - Specifics of nursing care for a terminally ill child, a dying child.
